Job Title: Senior .Net Developer


A Senior .Net Developer for SB Software Development will be responsible for design and development of business components and services according to business requirements and technical specifications. The successful candidate will be actively involved in all phases of software development life cycle; this includes requirements gathering, researching, initial configuration, set up, design, documentation, testing, debugging, updates, ongoing support, integration, maintenance and troubleshooting.


Essential Job Functions / Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  •  Designing, developing and testing middle tier and back-end business components using C# and SQL/T-SQL programming languages.
  • Developing internal and developer's tools and frameworks.
  • Maintaining and improving existing middle tier code.
  • Integrating new features and solutions into existing platform.
  • Analyse user requirements and build systems according to business specifications.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Work towards implementing continuous integration and continuous launch capabilities, as well as develop scalable architecture.
  • Working closely with other developers and staff such as project managers, and quality assurance team.
  • Provide mentorship to mid and junior level developers.

 Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong ability to analyse business requirements and build according to business specifications.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to business requirements and priority changes.

  • Ability to multi-task and work on several different projects simultaneously.
  • Initiative to work independently, but also able to work effectively with team members.

 Knowledge & Experience:

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
  • 8+ years of development using C#.
  • 5+ years of development with SQL Server.
  • Experience in designing and developing SOA (EDA) based highly scalable and high performance distributed systems.
  • Excellent understanding of software design and development using SOLID principles.
  • Experience building client side applications using WPF or WinForm, as well as web applications, preferably ASP.NET MVC.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with WCF, IOC/DI, mocking frameworks, CI.
  • Strong Unit Testing experience.
  • Experience with message-oriented middleware systems (RabbitMQ or similar), NOSQL (Couchbase, Memcached) would be nice to have.
