Role overview:
The Live NA / Growth Manager is responsible for overseeing the Live NA / Growth department, driving operational efficiency, enhancing performance, and ensuring sustained revenue growth. This role involves strategic oversight, product improvement, and maintaining high standards of team management within the Sportsbook division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Direct and manage the Live NA / Growth operations to facilitate growth and revenue. Ensure alignment of departmental goals with the broader objectives of the company.
- Product Development: Innovate and improve current live products and processes specific to the sports within the department, enhancing customer engagement and profitability.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of all leagues, identifying areas for improvement and optimization strategies.
- Team Management: Responsible for staffing, scheduling, vacation planning, and task assignments. Manage a team of 10 direct reports, setting personal goals aligned with departmental and company objectives.
- KPI Management: Define and monitor key performance indicators for the department, focusing on productivity, conduct, and operational efficiency.
- Operational Excellence: Lead the team in planning and executing major events, ensuring a reduction in operational errors and an increase in efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in sports trading, with a focus on Live NA / Growth, demonstrating a track record of success and innovation in the field.
- Experience in leading teams and managing projects, with evidence of achieving significant operational improvements and financial results.
- Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in sports betting and trading, and the ability to leverage these for business growth.
- A history of developing and implementing strategic initiatives that align with company objectives and drive market competitiveness.
- Educational background in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Sports Management, or a related field, with relevant professional certifications being an added advantage.
