Role Overview:

The ability to trade at the highest level of events while testing and providing feedback on new model versions, as well as identifying current problem areas within the sport. Additionally, advising other traders on tactics, policies, or procedures for handling events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trade soccer events at all levels, ensuring risk management and profitability optimization.
• Monitor events for inefficiencies in models and react to live scenarios, such as player injuries, lineup changes, and weather updates.
• Adjust pricing, handicapping, and limits based on real-time data and news.
• Identify and analyze unusual betting patterns to detect potential match-fixing or fraud.
• Provide timely reporting and feedback to management for further investigation.
• Conduct in-depth research of soccer markets, including trend analysis, wager patterns, and customer behavior.
• Analyze specific leagues, games, and customer interactions to identify areas for optimization and profitability.
• Create reports for management to propose improvements in trading strategies, market offerings, and automated systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide feedback on improving current trading tools and implementing new strategies.
• Support the creation of innovative market offerings and features to maintain competitiveness.
• Assist in refining processes to improve efficiency and accuracy across the trading team.
• Monitor automated processes such as event creation, pricing, and risk assessments, resolving errors in real time.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Sports enthusiast.
• 4-5 years of experience in a similar role with 2-3 years of experience in a senior trading role.
• Experience in working with and giving feedback to development teams.
• Experience thinking in terms of probability – such as advanced math training or relevant job experience.
• Experience in programming ( any language ) would be a plus but not a requirement.

• Accurate and fast mathematical skills.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• Ability to quickly make proper decisions based on incomplete available information.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities with attention to details
