Role overview:

The Live NA / Growth Manager is responsible for overseeing the Live NA / Growth department, driving operational efficiency, enhancing performance, and ensuring sustained revenue growth. This role involves strategic oversight, product improvement, and maintaining high standards of team management within the Sportsbook division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Direct and manage the Live NA / Growth operations to facilitate growth and revenue. Ensure alignment of departmental goals with the broader objectives of the company.
• Product Development: Innovate and improve current live products and processes specific to the sports within the department, enhancing customer engagement and profitability.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of all leagues, identifying areas for improvement and optimization strategies.
• Team Management: Responsible for staffing, scheduling, vacation planning, and task assignments. Manage a team of 10 direct reports, setting personal goals aligned with departmental and company objectives.
• KPI Management: Define and monitor key performance indicators for the department, focusing on productivity, conduct, and operational efficiency.
• Operational Excellence: Lead the team in planning and executing major events, ensuring a reduction in operational errors and an increase in efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in sports trading, with a focus on Live NA / Growth, demonstrating a track record of success and innovation in the field.
• Experience in leading teams and managing projects, with evidence of achieving significant operational improvements and financial results.
• Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in sports betting and trading, and the ability to leverage these for business growth.
• A history of developing and implementing strategic initiatives that align with company objectives and drive market competitiveness.
• Educational background in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Sports Management, or a related field, with relevant professional certifications being an added advantage.

About the role:

As an eSports Data Scientist, the candidate will be responsible for the collecting, storing, cleaning, analyzing, visualizing, interpreting and modeling data relevant to eSports in order to recognize patterns and trends in betting markets.

Our ideal candidate should have:

• Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Statistics/Economics or related study
• Expertise in R and other statistical programming languages (minimum 3 years)
• Experience in Frequentist and Bayesian Statistical methods
• Experience with Machine Learning algorithms, Probabilistic models and other statistical modelling approaches
• Strong knowledge in major eSports titles such as CSGO, DOTA2, LoL, Valorant
• Experience with modern R packages such as dplyr, ggplot2, data table
• Experience in front-end R technologies for data products such as ShinyR, FlexDashboards
• Ability to write complex SQL queries
• Good Software Engineering Design Principles, such as Design Patterns
• Cloud Computing experience desirable
• Some Python experience desirable

About the Role:

A Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for developing algorithms that will be the basis of our mathematical models used to understand and automate the trading process of sports betting markets. The candidate must have a strong background in Machine Learning, Statistics, and Algorithm Development.

Our Ideal Candidate Should Have:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computational Statistics or equivalent degree or experience. An MS or PHD in Computer Science, specializing in Machine Learning is desirable.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with statistical computing in R or Python.
• 3+ years of experience with Machine Learning algorithms and Probabilistic Modelling.
• Strong background in statistics, preferably Bayesian Statistics.
• Experience with SQL and SQL Server.
• Experience with modern R packages and technologies such as dplyr, tidyR, data.table, shinyR preferred.
• Experience with .NET Framework and C# is preferable.
• Experience with Bayesian Inference using Statistical Languages for MCMC such as Stan, JAGS, WinBugs is a big plus. 
• Experience using cloud computing platforms such as EC2 (AWS)Domain experience in on-line gaming and entertainment industry, Financial Markets (such as Stock Exchange, Options, Bonds, ForEx, etc), or other types of 2-sided markets is a plus.
• Experience with Neural Networks or Deep Learning on large problems is a plus.
• Experience with Hadoop, Map Reduce or High Performance Computing is a plus.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Initiative to work independently, but also able to work effectively with team members in different locations.
• Flexibility and adaptability to business requirements and priority changes.
